Tune Talk eSIM T&Cs

  1. By utilizing Tune Talk’s eSIM service, you acknowledge and agree that an eSIM, or embedded SIM, is a small chip integrated within a compatible device. With Tune Talk’s eSIM technology, you shall have the capability to activate a mobile plan without the necessity of a physical SIM card, to establish connectivity to the Tune Talk network.
  1. The Tune Talk eSIM service is accessible to both new and existing Tune Talk subscribers.
  2. The Tune Talk eSIM service is compatible with all Tune Talk Prepaid Plans.
  1. The Tune Talk eSIM service is priced at RM10 per eSIM.
  2. There are a few options to purchase an eSIM:-
    1. Purchase an eSIM on its own ;
    2. Purchase an eSIM with Top up ;
    3. Purchase an eSIM with Tune Talk Plans ;
    4. Purchase an eSIM with Tune Talk Top up and Plans
  3. Tune Talk eSIMs are available for purchase through the Tune Talk App or the Tune Talk Website.
  4. Upon successful purchase, the Tune Talk eSIM Profile containing SIM details, including a unique QR code and manual entry details, shall be delivered exclusively via email to the subscriber. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided to ensure the process of acquiring eSIM is successful.
  5. Subscribers are advised to complete User Registration & eSIM Activation within 48 hours of receiving the Tune Talk eSIM Profile and to ensure that they adhere to the compliance of the MCMC’S Guidelines On Registration Of End-Users Of Prepaid Public Cellular Services.
  6. Completion of registration via the Tune Talk app is mandatory before installing the eSIM into a device.
  7. As such, subscribers shall install the Tune Talk eSIM only after completing the registration (and/or port-in) process as instructed in the email to prevent incidents including but not limited to : –
    1. In the case of porting in on iOS devices, iMessage may register the temporary number and fail to automatically update to the ported-in number.
    2. If the eSIM profile is installed before registration completion, the eSIM may display as ‘numberless,’ rendering it unusable, as described in clause 12 hereof.
  1. Subscribers shall ensure compatibility of their mobile devices with Tune Talk’s eSIM. A list of compatible devices can be found at https://www.tunetalk.com/prepaid/services/esim/, which Tune Talk shall periodically update.
  2. Installation of the eSIM profile is a one-time process. Subscribers must carefully follow the provided instructions to ensure successful installation
  3. Tune Talk eSIM cannot be manually removed from mobile devices. In the event of device replacement or change, users shall request an eSIM replacement.
  4. Subscribers may proceed with eSIM replacement through the Tune Talk App. For any assistance, Subscribers may contact Tune Talk Customer Care Hotline at 13100 or 03-27717000. However, subscribers hereby understood that call charges may apply.
  5. Upon porting out from the Tune Talk network or terminating the use of Tune Talk eSIM, connection to the Tune Talk network shall thereafter cease. Subscribers shall then be responsible to establish a new mobile network connection in such events.
  6. Each ID is limited to registration of up to 5 Tune Talk numbers, inclusive of both physical SIM and eSIM.
  7. All subscribers that participate in this promotion shall be bound by the terms and conditions contained and/or amended herein together with all terms and conditions related to the provision of Tune Talk’s service. Any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence shall be attended to.
  8. Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
  9. The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Malaysia and the subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysia.
  10. Tune Talk reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions without any prior notice.
