TT Buddies - Data Plan

The Tune Talk BUDDIES data plan, hereinafter referred to as “TTB Plans” are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. This TTB Plans terms and conditions (“TTB Plans Terms and Conditions”) shall be supplementary to the Tune Talk Service Subscription (‘Service Subscription Terms and Conditions”) and shall be read together with Tune Talk’s Fair Usage Policy as and when so amended by Tune Talk from time to time. Subscribers who subscribe to any data plans under this TTB Plans are bound to all the above terms and conditions and any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
  2. The TTB Plans below are valid for all existing and new Tune Talk subscribers only from 16th October 2017 (“Effective date”) to 13th January 2019(“End date”). Eligibility is defined by having the “BUDDIES Pack” tariff plan.
  3. The TTB Plans are data plans with the following data quota, validity and price for Tune Talk subscribers:
    1. 300MB Daily Plan – 300MB allocation for 1 day within a 24 hours scope from the time of subscription until 11:59pm at the cost of RM1.00 per day. For example if you subscribe to the plan on 1st September 2018 at 12:01am your usage will last until 1st September 2018 at 11:59pm. If you subscribe to the plan on 1st September 2018 at 10:00pm your usage will last until 11:59pm.
    2. 2GB Weekly Plan – 2GB allocation for 1 week (7 days) from date and time of subscription at the cost of RM10 per week.
    3. 4GB Monthly Plan – 4GB allocation for 1 month (30 days), 400 minutes’ worth of airtime for on-network local calls and 100 minutes’ worth of airtime for off-network local calls in a Promo Bucket from date and time of subscription at the cost of RM28.00 per month.
      • 10GB Booster Plan – 10GB of high speed DATA which follows the validity of the 4GB Monthly Plan at the cost of RM10. (Can only be purchased if there is an active 4GB Monthly Plan)
    4. 8GB Monthly Plan – 8GB allocation for 1 month (30 days), 700 minutes’ worth of airtime for on-network local calls and 300 minutes’ worth of airtime for off-network local calls in a Promo Bucket from date and time of subscription at the cost of RM48.00 per month.
      • 20GB Booster Plan – 20GB of high speed DATA which follows the validity of the 8GB Monthly Plan at the cost of RM20. (Can only be purchased if there is an active 8GB Monthly Plan)
    5. 120GB* Yearly Plan – 10GB* allocation per 30 days(including day of subscription) and refreshes for another 11 cycles at a one-time cost of RM200.00 and comes with 360 days airtime validity from date of subscription. For clarity, the “Yearly” term in this “Yearly Data Plan” refers to the year-on-year renewal nature of the plan and not referring to the regular calculation of a yearly period of 365 days. It is a 30-day renewal cycle where a period starting one day in a calendar month and ending on the numerically corresponding day 30-days later in the next calendar month. This plan automatically renews at the end of the 12th cycle (every 360 days) subject to sufficient credit and must be in Active status during day of renewal.
  4. To subscribe to the TTB Plans, subscribers must send the desired keyword to 2222
    1. 300MB Daily Plan – type “300M” and send to 2222
    2. 2GB weekly Plan – type “2GW” and send to 2222
    3. 4GB Monthly Plan – type “4G” and send to 2222
      • 10GB Booster Plan – type “BP2” and send to 2222
    4. 8GB Monthly Plan – type “8G” and send to 2222
      • 20GB Booster Plan – type “BP3” and send to 2222
    5. 120GB Yearly Plan – type “120G” and send to 2222
  5. For the 4GB & 8GB Monthly Plans, the airtime within the Promo Bucket can be used for ON-NETWORK Local Calls ONLY until the allotted airtime is exhausted, whereupon the airtime credit within the subscribers main Tune Talk prepaid balance will start to be utilized at standard Tune Talk call rates.
  6. The Plans with 1 day validity are valid from the time of subscription until 11:59pm on the same day of subscription.
  7. Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly plans can enable or stop auto-renewals via the Tune Talk App.
  8. All plan auto-renewals are processed between 00:00am midnight to 1:30am.
  9. In the event the Data Quota is exhausted before the expiry, users can get an additional Data Quota by sending the desired keyword to 2222. Please note that any unused data quota from the previous subscription does not carry forward.
    1. 300MB Daily Plan – type “300M ADD” and send to 2222
    2. 2GB weekly Plan – type “2GW ADD” and send to 2222
    3. 4GB Monthly Plan – type “4G ADD” and send to 2222
      • 10GB Booster Plan – type “BP2 ADD” and send to 2222
    4. 8GB Monthly Plan – type “8G ADD” and send to 2222
      • 20GB Booster Plan – type “BP3 ADD” and send to 2222
    5. 120GB Yearly Plan – type “2G ADD” and send to 2222
      • For TUNE TALK subscribers, this adds a 2GB quota that is valid for the remainder of the cycle until the next 10GB allocation is granted. The 2GB add-on is charged at RM15.
  10. Any data usage after the Data Quota is totally exhausted will be charged at current Pay Per Use rates and it is valid. After 90% of the Data Quota has been utilised, a usage notification will be sent to the subscriber and remaining available Data Quota can be checked by dialling *134#.
  11. In the event that the Subscriber has insufficient balance to be auto-renewed, the subscription will be deactivated. To enjoy the data plan again Subscriber can top up and re-subscribe.
  12. In the event that the subscriber is not in ACTIVE status (ACTIVE status means that a subscriber’s Tune Talk credit validity has not expired), the subscriber will not be able to utilise the Data Quota until they return to ACTIVE status. Subscriptions to 300MB daily or 2GB weekly plan, excluding monthly plans or yearly plan will be deactivated. To enjoy the data plan again Subscriber can top up and re-subscribe.
  13. To unsubscribe from the Plans, subscribers must send the desired keyword to 2222:
    1. 300MB Daily Plan – type “300M STOP” and send to 2222
    2. 2GB weekly Plan – type “2GW STOP” and send to 2222
    3. 4GB Monthly Plan – type “4G STOP” and send to 2222
      • 10GB Booster Plan – type “BP2 STOP” and send to 2222
    4. 8GB Monthly Plan – type “8G STOP” and send to 2222
      • 20GB Booster Plan – type “BP3 STOP” and send to 2222
    5. 120GB Yearly Plan – type “120G STOP” and send to 2222
  14. To check on status, subscribers must send the desired keyword to 2222:
    1. 300MB Daily Plan – type “300M STATUS” and send to 2222
    2. 2GB weekly Plan – type “2GW STATUS” and send to 2222
    3. 4GB Monthly Plan – type “4G STATUS” and send to 2222
      • 10GB Booster Plan – type “BP2 STATUS” and send to 2222
    4. 8GB Monthly Plan – type “8G STATUS” and send to 2222
      • 20GB Booster Plan – type “BP3 STATUS” and send to 2222
    5. 120GB Yearly Plan – type “120G STATUS” and send to 2222
      • 2GB add-on – type “2G STATUS” and send to 2222
  15. Subscribers can only subscribe to 1(one) Plan at any one time. For subscribers that are already subscribed to an existing data plan, subscribing to a new plan will supersede their current plan and any unused data quota and any unused Local Voice minutes will be forfeited.
  16. Subscribers that subscribe to the 120GB Yearly Plan will NOT be able to subscribe to any other data plan unless they unsubscribe from the Plan first. To unsubscribe from the plan please refer to Clause 15 (f).
  17. All un-used data balance will be forfeited and refunds will not be valid.
  18. In the case of multiple active data plans (e.g. Monthly Internet Plan and Free Data with Top Up), Freebies will always be exhausted before Monthly Internet Plans.
  19. All queries pertaining to the above Plans should be directed to Tune Talk’s Customer Care by calling 13100 or 03-2771 7000 from 8am to 10pm daily.
  20. All subscribers that participate in any of the Plans are bound by the terms and conditions contained herein together with Tune Talks service terms and conditions, as and when so amended herein and any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
  21. Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail.
  22. The terms and conditions herein shall be governed and construed in the laws of Malaysia and the subscribers agree unconditionally to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Malaysia.
  23. Tune Talk reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions without any prior notice.
  24. The subscriber’s personal information is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements as stated here at Tune Talk Privacy Policy. Kindly refer to the link for detailed information and understanding of the scope of the privacy policy therein.
