TT Epik+ Prepaid Internet Plans T&Cs

The new Tune Talk Pek EPIK+ Prepaid internet plans and passes (hereinafter referred to as “TT Epik+ Plans”) is an enhanced version of Pek Epik, featuring newly upgraded plans and features, and shall be subjected to the following terms and conditions:

  1. This TT Epik+ Plans Terms and Conditions shall act as a supplementary to the  Tune Talk Service Subscription and shall be read together with Tune Talk Epik Prepaid Pack Terms & Conditions (“TT Pek Epik T&Cs”) as and when so amended by Tune Talk from time to time. Subscribers who subscribe to any internet plans under this TT Epik+ Plans shall be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein, alongside with the terms and conditions of Tune Talk Service Subscription. Any decisions made by Tune Talk shall be final and no further correspondence shall be entertained.

EFFECTIVE DATE

  1. TT Epik+ Plans shall be made available from 00:01, 16th December 2024 (“Effective Date”) onwards.

 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  1. TT Epik+ shall only be effective in Malaysia wherein the details of the TT Epik+ Plans (quota, validity, and price) are set out in the table below:

  2. Terms & Conditions of TT Epik+ Plans
    1. Monthly Plans
      1. Epik 25+ Monthly Plan (“Epik25+”)
        • Epik25+ shall be priced at RM25.00. This plan includes:
          • 40GB 4G/5G Base Internet uncapped
          • Unlimited voice calls to all networks
          • 12 per SMS
          • 30 days validity
        • Epik25+ subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 2(b) of Product Description.
        • Any usage of hotspot shall utilise from available add-ons.
      2. Epik 35+ Monthly Plan (“Epik35+”)
        • Epik35+ shall be priced at RM35.00. This plan includes:
          • 150GB 4G/5G Base Internet uncapped
          • Unlimited voice calls to all networks
          • 12 per SMS
          • 30 days validity
        • As a result of the upgrade to the Internet Base Quota, the bonus 5GB Hotspot Internet and unlimited Social, Chat & Video services shall no longer be made available.
        • Any usage of hotspot or Social, Chat & Video services shall utilise from the Epik35+ plan’s Base Internet allowance and/or any available add-ons.
        • Epik35+ plan’s hotspot is enabled for two (2) devices. Only two devices can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse.
        • Epik35+ subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 2(b) of Product Description.
        • As a valued Epik35+ subscriber, you are eligible for a complimentary personal insurance coverage of up to RM50,000. The terms and conditions of this insurance coverage are outlined at the Insurance Eligibility section, Clauses 1-4.

      3. Epik 50+ Monthly Plan (“Epik50+”)
        • The Epik50+ shall be priced at RM50 and includes:
          • 350GB 4G/5G Base Internet uncapped
          • Unlimited voice calls to all networks
          • 12 per SMS
          • 30 days validity
        • As a result of the upgrade to the Internet Base Quota, the bonus 10GB Hotspot Internet shall no longer be made available.
        • Any usage of hotspot shall now utilise the Epik50+’s Base Internet and/or add-ons (if available).
        • Epik50+ plan’s hotspot is enabled for three (3) devices. Only three devices can be connected to the internet via hotspot at any given time. If an attempt is made to connect additional devices beyond this limit, they will not be able to access the internet or browse.
        • Epik50+ subscribers can purchase eligible add-ons, wherein the booster details can be found in Clause 2(b) of Product Description.
        • As a valued Epik50+ subscriber, you are eligible for a complimentary personal insurance coverage of up to RM50,000. The terms and conditions of this insurance coverage are outlined at the Insurance Eligibility section, Clauses 1-4.

    2. Add-Ons
      1. 5G Internet
        1. 10GB 5G Booster (“EB5G10”)
          • EB5G10 shall be priced at RM10.00 and shall include a 10GB 5G hotspotable Internet. SIM shall be provisioned with 5G service.
          • EB5G10 shall follow the validity of the MI plans and shall be made available for the following TT Epik+ plans:
            • Epik 25+
            • Epik 35+
            • Epik 50+
  3. Plan Mechanics
    1. Payment of plans and credit validity
      1. Upon subscribing to any Epik+ Plans, the subscriber’s credit validity will be extended in accordance with the ‘Validity’ period specified for each respective plan in the table under Clause 2 of the Product Description.
    2. Plan Expiry and Renewals
      1. For all plans purchased, validity will start on the day of purchase and will expire at midnight (11:59pm) on the day of expiry.
      2. Upon expiry of plans, no quotas (internet or calls) or any balance thereof will be carried forward.
      3. Auto-renewals for Epik+ Plans will be processed between 00:01 AM and 01:30 AM on the day following the expiration of the plan. Subscribers are advised not to attempt to add or renew their plan during this period to avoid accidental double-charging. In the event that the subscriber’s balance is insufficient for auto-renewal, the subscription will be deactivated. To resume the data plan, the subscriber must reload their account and re-subscribe.
    3. Replacing or combining plans
      1. If a subscriber subscribes to a new plan (of the same type or a different type) while having an active plan, the active plan will be forfeited upon activation of the new plan.
      2. Combining multiple active plans is not allowed. A subscriber may only have one active plan at any given time. Any new plan subscription will override and replace the current active plan
      3. Any add-ons or boosters purchased with a previous plan will not be carried over to the new plan. Subscribers will need to purchase new add-ons or boosters if applicable to the new plan. The validity of add-ons will align with the new plan’s validity period.
      4. The new plan will take effect immediately upon successful activation, and the previously active plan will be deactivated. The validity of the new plan will start from the activation date and is valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
    4. Any depletion of Internet usage after any paid or promotional internet, subscriber may revert to Free Basic Internet (if available).
    5. An SMS shall be sent to the subscriber pertaining to their usage at 90% and 100% respectively.
    6. All unlimited voice calls (within Tune Talk’s network or other networks) shall be subjected to the Fair Usage Policy.
    7. Prioritization of Usage Across Multiple Internet Buckets
      In the event of multiple active Internet plans, utilization shall be based pursuant to the table below:

INSURANCE ELIGIBILITY

  1. All Epik+ Hero Plans are eligible for insurance coverage, provided only if the following conditions are met:
    1. The subscribers purchase one of the following Epik+ Hero Plans:
      1. Epik35+
      2. Epik50+
  2. Subscribers may lose eligibility for insurance coverage under the following circumstances:
    1. Failure to maintain an active plan: Failure to purchase an Epik+ Hero Plan for any calendar month will result in the loss of insurance coverage eligibility for the subsequent month.
    2. Failure to purchase plan consecutively: To maintain eligibility for insurance coverage, subscribers must purchase an Epik+ plan consecutively every calendar month. Any break in plan enrollment shall render the subscriber ineligible for coverage until a new plan is purchased.
  3. Cooling period:
    1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, a waiting period of two (2) months shall apply to all new subscriptions to an eligible plan. During this period, the subscriber shall not be entitled to any benefits or coverage under the insurance policy. The waiting period shall commence on the date of initial subscription and shall expire two (2) months thereafter, at which time the insurance coverage shall become effective.
  4. Coverage activation:
    1. Insurance coverage shall commence on the third (3rd) month following the customer’s initial purchase of an eligible plan.
    2. Thereafter, insurance coverage shall be provided on a month-to-month basis, subject to the following conditions:
      1. To maintain coverage, the subscriber must make a purchase of an eligible plan within the current month.
      2. Coverage shall become effective on the first day of the following month.
    3. If the subscriber fails to make a purchase of an eligible plan in a given month, their eligibility for coverage shall be suspended for the following month.
    4. Coverage shall be reinstated if the subscriber makes a purchase of an eligible plan in a subsequent month, following the standard procedure outlined above.

LIMITATION

  1. Previous internet plans (including but not limited to plans, freebies and/or offers under Tune Talk BUDDIES, Tune Talk VALUE, Tune Talk CUN VALUE, Tune Talk HI VALUE or Tune Talk JIMAT plans etc.) shall no longer be available for TT Epik+ subscribers, and from the Effective Date onwards can only subscribe to all plans enlisted in Clause 1 of Product Description herein, including future offers eligible to TT Epik Pack subscribers.
  2. 5G eligibility and coverage for 5G connectivity
    1. To enjoy a seamless 5G experience, subscribers shall ensure that they are:
      1. Using a 5G compatible device, wherein the list of 5G compatible models can be found here (refer to ‘5G Supported Devices’ section)
      2. In a 5G coverage area (refer here for 5G coverage map)
      3. In the event where one or more of the above criteria are not met, subscribers shall not be able to enjoy the 5G service, speeds, or enjoy the full potential which the eligible 5G plans or addons are able to offer.
  3. Tune Talk reserves the right to manage hotspot usage to ensure optimal performance and connectivity across devices. Hotspot optimisation for each plan is stated in the Product Description, Clause 2(b).

GENERAL TERMS

  1. All prices mentioned in Clause 2 of Product Description herein shall be excluded from the Sales & Services Tax (“SST”). SST shall be charged to non-Malaysian’s subscribers (registered with Passport) for any purchase via non-credit forms of payment (e.g. credit or debit card).
  2. Calls to premium/special numbers (including but not exclusive to 1-300 and 1-800 numbers) shall incur charges pursuant to the applicable rates.
  3. All unused Internet balances shall be forfeited and request for refunds shall not be accommodated.
  4. Tune Talk hereby reserves the right at any time without liability to suspend or terminate the service, plans, Internet, voice or call subscriptions if Tune Talk has reasonable grounds that the subscriber is in violation of the applicable Terms and Conditions.
  5. All queries pertaining to the abovementioned plans shall be directed to Tune Talk’s Customer Care by Live Chat, calling 13100 or 03-2771 7000 (non-Tune Talk or overseas) from 8am to 10pm daily.
  6. Where the terms & conditions are translated into a language other than the English Language, in the event of any inconsistencies, conflicts or discrepancies between the terms and conditions set out in the English Language version and that of the other language(s), the English Language version shall prevail. Words denoting the singular include the plural and vice versa, and words denoting any gender include all genders, and words applicable to natural persons include references to a firm, body corporate or unincorporated, association or an authority, and vice versa.
  7. The law governing these Terms and Conditions shall be the law of Malaysia.
  8. Tune Talk reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions or Fair Usage Policy at any time, without prior notice.
  9. The subscriber’s personal information is subjected to the Personal Data Protection Act, 2010 requirements and governed by Tune Talk’s Privacy Policy at https://www.tunetalk.com/privacy-policy/.
