PA Insurance T&Csβ
These Terms and Conditions (βTerms and Conditionsβ) govern the complimentary personal accident insurance coverage (βPA Insuranceβ) made available to eligible Tune Talk subscribers.
The PA Insurance is underwritten and administered by RHB Insurance Berhad or such other insurer as may be appointed by Tune Talk from time to time (βInsurerβ). The PA Insurance is subject to the applicable master policy, policy wording, certificate of insurance, benefit schedule, definitions, exclusions, limits, claims requirements and other insurance documents issued or approved by the Insurer (βPolicy Documentsβ).
By receiving the PA Insurance coverage, the eligible subscriber and insured person agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Policy Documents. In the event of any inconsistency relating to the insurance coverage, benefits, exclusions or claims assessment, the Policy Documents shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

- Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms:
- AONβ means the Age on Network of a Tune Talk line, calculated from the successful activation date of the line solely based on Tune Talkβs records.
- βCoverage Monthβ means the calendar month during which an eligible Insured Person is covered under the PA Insurance, commencing on the first day and ending on the last day of that calendar month.
- βEligible Planβ means any Tune Talk plan listed in Clause 3.
- βInsured Personβ means the individual who satisfies the applicable eligibility requirements and is covered under the PA Insurance.
- βSubscriberβ means the registered subscriber of a Tune Talk line.
- βTune Talkβ means Tune Talk Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 200601001436 (721184-T)).
- Eligibility
- To be eligible for the PA Insurance, the Insured Person must be:
- a Malaysian citizen;
- a Malaysian permanent resident;
- a holder of a valid Malaysian work permit;
- a holder of a valid Malaysian employment pass; or
- a person otherwise lawfully employed in Malaysia and accepted by the Insurer.
- The Insured Person must be between twelve (12) and sixty-five (65) years of age, inclusive, or within such other age range prescribed in the applicable Policy Documents.
- To qualify for PA Insurance coverage for a particular Coverage Month, the Subscriber must:
- have subscribed to an Eligible Plan during the immediately preceding calendar month;
- satisfy the applicable AON requirement;
- ensure that the relevant Tune Talk line and identification details are correctly registered; and
- satisfy all other applicable eligibility requirements under these Terms and Conditions and the Policy Documents.
- A newly registered Tune Talk line must have an AON of more than sixty (60) days before the Subscriber may qualify for the PA Insurance.
- A Tune Talk line with an AON of sixty (60) days or less shall not be eligible, notwithstanding that the Subscriber has subscribed to an Eligible Plan.
- An existing Subscriber whose Tune Talk line has an AON of more than sixty (60) days may qualify for the PA Insurance after subscribing to an Eligible Plan during the preceding calendar month, subject to all other applicable eligibility requirements.
- Eligibility for the PA Insurance is not automatic merely by reason of subscribing to an Eligible Plan. The Subscriber and Insured Person must satisfy all applicable requirements under these Terms and Conditions and the Policy Documents.
- Eligibility, line status, AON calculation, and registration details shall be determined strictly and conclusively based on Tune Talkβs internal system records, which shall serve as final and binding evidence in all circumstances.
- To be eligible for the PA Insurance, the Insured Person must be:
- Eligible Plans and Principal Coverage Amount
- The following Tune Talk plans are eligible for the PA Insurance:
- Epik+ 50 β principal coverage of up to RM150,000;
- Epik+ 35 β principal coverage of up to RM100,000;
- Epik+ Family Safe β principal coverage of up to RM100,000; and
- Epik+ Family β principal coverage of up to RM100,000.
- The applicable principal coverage amount for a Coverage Month shall be determined based on the Eligible Plan subscribed to during the immediately preceding calendar month.
- The principal coverage amount is the maximum sum insured and does not represent a guaranteed claim payment. The actual amount payable shall depend on the nature and extent of the covered event, the applicable benefit schedule and the Insurerβs assessment under the Policy Documents.
- The applicable coverage shall be provided on a per eligible Insured Person basis, subject to the limitation of one (1) PA Insurance coverage per registered identification number under Clause 6.
- Tune Talk may add, remove or amend the Eligible Plans or coverage amounts by providing notice through the Tune Talk website, Tune Talk mobile application or any other appropriate communication channel.
- The following Tune Talk plans are eligible for the PA Insurance:
- Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe Lines
- Each eligible master, child or supplementary line under Epik+ Family or Epik+ Family Safe may qualify for individual PA Insurance coverage where:
- the relevant line is associated with an identifiable Insured Person;
- the Insured Person satisfies the applicable age, residency, employment, registration and eligibility requirements;
- the Eligible Plan was subscribed to during the immediately preceding calendar month;
- the relevant line satisfies the applicable AON requirement; and
- the Insured Person is not already covered through another Tune Talk line under the same identification number.
- A child or supplementary line shall not qualify merely because the master line is eligible.
- Each child or supplementary line must be correctly registered or associated with the relevant Insured Person based on the identification records accepted by Tune Talk and the Insurer.
- Coverage for a child or supplementary line remains subject to acceptance by the Insurer and the applicable Policy Documents.
- Each eligible master, child or supplementary line under Epik+ Family or Epik+ Family Safe may qualify for individual PA Insurance coverage where:
- Monthly Eligibility Assessment
- Eligibility for the PA Insurance shall be assessed monthly based on the Eligible Plan subscribed to during the immediately preceding calendar month.
- A subscription to an Eligible Plan during one (1) calendar month shall determine the Subscriberβs eligibility and applicable coverage amount for the following calendar month.
- For example, where a Subscriber subscribes to an Eligible Plan in January and satisfies all other applicable eligibility requirements, the Subscriber may qualify for PA Insurance coverage from 1 February until 28 February or 29 February, as applicable.
- Each Coverage Month shall commence on the first day and end on the last day of the relevant calendar month.
- There is no fixed cut-off date during the preceding calendar month for the purpose of determining eligibility. A Subscriber who successfully subscribes to an Eligible Plan at any time during the preceding calendar month may qualify for coverage in the following calendar month, subject to all other applicable eligibility requirements.
- Where the Subscriber:
- changes to a plan that is not an Eligible Plan;
- becomes planless; or
- does not subscribe to an Eligible Plan during a particular calendar month,the Subscriber may not qualify for PA Insurance coverage in the following calendar month.
- Where the Subscriber changes between Eligible Plans during the preceding calendar month, the applicable coverage amount for the following Coverage Month shall be determined based on Tune Talkβs and the Insurerβs applicable assessment rules and system records.
- Eligibility shall be determined based on Tune Talkβs and the Insurerβs records. Such records shall be conclusive unless a manifest or proven error is established.
- One Coverage per Identification Number
- Only one (1) PA Insurance coverage shall be provided to each eligible Insured Person under the same registered MyKad, passport, permanent resident identification number, work permit number, employment pass number or other identification number accepted by Tune Talk and the Insurer.
- Where multiple Tune Talk lines are registered under, linked to or used by the same Insured Person, the Insured Person shall not be entitled to multiple PA Insurance coverages for the same Coverage Month.
- Where an Insured Person is associated with more than one Eligible Plan, the applicable coverage amount shall be determined in accordance with Tune Talkβs and the Insurerβs eligibility and plan-priority rules.
- Tune Talk and the Insurer reserve the right to consolidate, reject or adjust any duplicate coverage records.
- Scope of Coverage and Benefits
- Subject to the applicable Policy Documents, the PA Insurance provides principal coverage of up to RM100,000 or RM150,000, depending on the applicable Eligible Plan, for:
- accidental death;
- permanent loss; and
- total and permanent disablement, including total paralysis.
- With effect from 1 June 2026, an eligible Insured Person may also receive the following additional benefits:
- medical expenses coverage of up to RM250;
- daily hospital income of RM30 per day for a maximum period of sixty (60) days;
- personal liability coverage of up to RM25,000; and
- bereavement allowance arising from an accident of up to RM5,000.
- The additional benefits under Clause 7.b are separate from and in addition to the applicable principal coverage amount.
- Each benefit is subject to its applicable definitions, conditions, limits, sub-limits, exclusions, supporting-document requirements and claims assessment under the Policy Documents.
- Benefits shall only be payable where the relevant accident or covered event occurs during a valid Coverage Month and satisfies all applicable requirements under the Policy Documents.
- No benefit or coverage amount stated in these Terms and Conditions constitutes a guaranteed payment. All claims are subject to assessment and approval by the Insurer.
- Subject to the applicable Policy Documents, the PA Insurance provides principal coverage of up to RM100,000 or RM150,000, depending on the applicable Eligible Plan, for:
- Coverage Period
- The PA Insurance coverage shall apply strictly on a calendar-month basis.
- Where a Subscriber qualifies for a particular Coverage Month, the coverage shall commence on the first day and remain valid until the last day of that calendar month.
- Eligibility for a Coverage Month is based on the Eligible Plan subscribed to during the immediately preceding calendar month and not on the status of the Tune Talk line at the time of the accident.
- Once the Subscriber has qualified for PA Insurance coverage for a particular Coverage Month, the coverage shall remain valid until the last day of that Coverage Month even if, during that Coverage Month:
- the Tune Talk line becomes inactive;
- the Tune Talk line is suspended;
- the Subscriber becomes planless; or
- the Subscriber no longer has an active plan at the time of the accident.
- For example, where a Subscriber subscribes to an Eligible Plan in January and qualifies for PA Insurance coverage in February, the Subscriber shall remain covered from 1 February until the last day of February even if the Tune Talk line becomes inactive or suspended during February.
- An inactive or suspended line during the Coverage Month may affect eligibility for the following calendar month if the Subscriber does not subscribe to an Eligible Plan during the relevant assessment month.
- Coverage for a subsequent calendar month shall only be provided where the Subscriber satisfies the applicable eligibility requirements based on the immediately preceding calendar month.
- Cessation of eligibility for a subsequent Coverage Month shall not invalidate a valid claim arising from an accident or covered event that occurred during an earlier valid Coverage Month.
- Restriction and Exclusion
- Subject to the applicable Policy Documents, the PA Insurance does not cover an accident occurring while the Insured Person is:
- riding or operating a motorcycle; or
- travelling as a pillion rider on a motorcycle.
- The PA Insurance does not cover any loss, injury, liability or claim arising directly or indirectly from high-risk activities, including but not limited to:
- scuba diving;
- martial arts;
- motorised racing; and
- non-motorised racing, other than foot racing.
- Persons engaged in certain hazardous or high-risk occupations may be ineligible, including but not limited to:
- military personnel;
- law enforcement personnel;
- pilots;
- aircrew; and
- professional athletes or professional sports players.
- The exclusions stated in this Clause are not exhaustive. Other exclusions, limitations, conditions and restricted occupations may apply under the Policy Documents.
- The Policy Documents shall prevail in determining whether a particular event, activity, occupation, injury, loss or claim is covered.
- Subject to the applicable Policy Documents, the PA Insurance does not cover an accident occurring while the Insured Person is:
- Claims Procedure
- All claims must be notified to the insurer within thirty (30) days from the date of the accident.
- To submit a claim, the claimant must:
- download and complete the applicable PA Insurance claim form made available through the Tune Talk website or other designated channel;
- provide complete and accurate information;
- sign any declaration or authorisation required by the Insurer; and
- submit the completed claim form together with all required supporting documents.
- Supporting documents may include, where applicable:
- the completed PA Insurance claim form;
- a copy of the Insured Personβs and claimantβs identification documents;
- the death certificate;
- the burial or cremation permit or notice;
- medical reports, records, receipts or certificates;
- a police report;
- proof of relationship or authority to make the claim;
- proof of the Insured Personβs Tune Talk subscription or eligibility; and
- any other information or document requested by the Insurer.
- The completed claim form and supporting documents must be submitted to: Email: general@rhbgroup.com or through any other submission channel designated by the Insurer.

- Submission of a claim does not guarantee approval or payment. All claims shall be assessed and determined by the Insurer in accordance with the Policy Documents.
- Tune Talk does not assess, approve, reject or settle insurance claims and shall not be responsible for any claims decision made by the Insurer.
- Other Insurance Policies
- The Insured Person may remain eligible for benefits under this PA Insurance notwithstanding that the Insured Person holds another insurance policy, subject to the applicable Policy Documents.
- Benefits that operate on a reimbursement basis, including medical expenses, may be subject to contribution, reimbursement or non-duplication principles under the Policy Documents and applicable law.
- The Insured Person or claimant must disclose any other relevant insurance coverage where required by the Insurer.
- Nomination and Payment of Policy Monies
- Any nomination of a beneficiary or nominee shall be made in accordance with the applicable nomination form, the Policy Documents and Malaysian law.
- Pursuant to Section 129 and the applicable provisions of Schedule 9 of the Financial Services Act 2013, a nominee may include the Insured Personβs spouse, child or parent, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
- Where the Insured Person has no spouse or child at the time of nomination, the nominee may be the Insured Personβs parent, subject to the applicable law and nomination requirements.
- For a Muslim Insured Person, any nominee who receives the policy monies shall distribute the policy monies in accordance with the applicable Malaysian law and Shariah principles.
- Where no valid nomination has been made, any policy monies shall be paid or administered in accordance with the Policy Documents and applicable law.
- Subscribers should refer to the nomination form and explanatory notes issued by the Insurer or seek independent legal advice regarding the legal effect of a nomination.
- Eligibility Verification
- Subscribers may check their PA Insurance eligibility through the eligibility checker available on the Tune Talk website or through any other channel designated by Tune Talk.
- The website eligibility checker shall be updated by the seventh (7th) day of each calendar month to reflect eligibility for that Coverage Month.
- The update date of the eligibility checker does not affect the commencement date of the PA Insurance coverage. Where the Subscriber qualifies, coverage shall commence from the first day of the relevant calendar month even if the eligibility checker is updated after that date.
- For example, where a Subscriber qualifies for coverage in August, the coverage shall commence on 1 August even if the eligibility checker is updated on or before 7 August.
- The result displayed through the eligibility checker is based on the information available at the time of checking and does not constitute a certificate of insurance, confirmation of claim approval or guarantee of payment.
- Where the eligibility checker has not yet been updated, eligibility may remain subject to verification based on Tune Talkβs and the Insurerβs records.
- Final eligibility and claim entitlement remain subject to verification by Tune Talk and the Insurer.
- Subscriber Responsibilities
- The Subscriber and Insured Person are responsible for ensuring that all information registered with Tune Talk is complete, accurate and current.
- The Subscriber must promptly update Tune Talk regarding any change to the registered identification details or other information that may affect eligibility.
- Tune Talk and the Insurer shall not be responsible for any failure to provide coverage, process a claim or communicate with the Subscriber where the registered information is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
- Any fraud, misrepresentation, false declaration or submission of false documents may result in rejection of the claim, cancellation of coverage and any other action permitted by law.
- The subscriber and/or Insured Person explicitly agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tune Talk, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against all claims, liabilities, costs, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the PA Insurance, any rejected claims by the Insurer, or any inaccurate information provided by the Subscriber.
- Amendment, Suspension and Withdrawal
- Tune Talk may amend, suspend, replace or withdraw the PA Insurance, Eligible Plans, eligibility criteria, benefits or these Terms and Conditions from time to time, subject to applicable law and the terms agreed with the Insurer.
- Any amendment shall be communicated through the Tune Talk website, Tune Talk mobile application or any other appropriate communication channel.
- Where reasonably practicable, material amendments affecting eligibility or benefits shall take effect from a subsequent Coverage Month.
- Unless otherwise required by law or the applicable Policy Documents, an amendment, suspension or withdrawal shall not invalidate valid coverage already provided for an ongoing Coverage Month.
- The PA Insurance is provided as a complimentary benefit and does not form part of the core telecommunications services purchased by the Subscriber.
- Limitation of Tune Talkβs Role
- Tune Talk facilitates the provision of the PA Insurance to eligible Subscribers but is not the underwriter of the PA Insurance.
- All insurance coverage, underwriting, policy administration and claims decisions are undertaken by the Insurer.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tune Talk shall not be liable for:
- any claim that is rejected, reduced or delayed by the Insurer;
- any act or omission of the Insurer;
- any loss arising from the Subscriberβs failure to satisfy the applicable eligibility or claims requirements; or
- any interruption, amendment or withdrawal of the PA Insurance arising from the expiry or termination of the applicable insurance arrangement.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- Personal Data
- The Subscriber and Insured Person acknowledge that Tune Talk may collect, use, disclose and process relevant personal data for the purposes of:
- determining and verifying eligibility;
- enrolling or registering the Insured Person for coverage;
- administering the PA Insurance;
- facilitating claims and enquiries;
- preventing fraud and duplicate coverage; and
- complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant personal data may be disclosed to the Insurer, claims administrators, service providers, regulators and other parties where necessary for the purposes stated above.
- Personal data shall be processed in accordance with Tune Talkβs Privacy Notice, the Insurerβs applicable privacy notice and applicable Malaysian data protection laws.
- The Subscriber and Insured Person acknowledge that Tune Talk may collect, use, disclose and process relevant personal data for the purposes of:
- Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
- Any dispute relating solely to the insurance coverage or a claim shall be addressed in accordance with the dispute-resolution procedures stated in the Policy Documents and applicable law.
- General
- These Terms and Conditions shall be read together with the applicable Policy Documents and Tune Talkβs general terms and conditions.
- If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- A failure or delay by Tune Talk or the Insurer to exercise any right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Headings are included for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
