Saudi Arabia Hajj & Umrah Complimentary E-Roaming T&Cs
These Terms and Conditions govern the Saudi Arabia Hajj & Umrah Complimentary E-Roaming benefit offered by Tune Talk Sdn. Bhd. (“Tune Talk”). By using this benefit, eligible subscribers are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
- Campaign Period
- The Campaign shall commence on 1 August 2026 and shall continue until terminated, extended, varied, suspended or cancelled by Tune Talk (“Campaign Period”).
- Tune Talk reserves the right to amend the Campaign Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Eligible Plans
- The complimentary E-Roaming benefit is available to eligible Tune Talk subscribers who hold a valid MYKAD and are subscribed to any of the following plans:
- Epik+ 50
- Epik+ Family
- Epik+ Family Safe
- Epik+ 35, subject to completion of the applicable six (6)-month cooling period; or
- Epik+ 28, subject to completion of the applicable six (6)-month cooling period.
- Eligibility shall be determined based on Tune Talk’s system records.
- The complimentary E-Roaming benefit is available to eligible Tune Talk subscribers who hold a valid MYKAD and are subscribed to any of the following plans:
- Eligibility
- Epik+ 50, Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe
- Subscribers on Epik+ 50, Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe may enjoy the complimentary E-Roaming benefit without being subject to the six (6)-month cooling period applicable to Epik+ 28 and Epik+ 35 subscribers.
- Subscribers must remain on an eligible plan and satisfy all other applicable requirements under these Terms and Conditions.
- Epik+ 35 and Epik+ 28
- Subscribers on Epik+ 35 or Epik+ 28 must complete a continuous cooling period of six (6) months before becoming eligible for the complimentary E-Roaming benefit.
- The six (6)-month cooling period shall be calculated from the later of:
- 1 August 2026, being the Campaign commencement date; or
- the date on which the subscriber first subscribes to the applicable Epik+ 35 or Epik+ 28 plan.
- For the avoidance of doubt:
- any subscription period prior to 1 August 2026 shall not be counted towards the six (6)-month cooling period;
- subscribers who subscribed before 1 August 2026 shall have their cooling period commence from 1 August 2026; and
- subscribers who subscribe after 1 August 2026 shall have their cooling period commence from their respective plan subscription date.
- Epik+ 50, Epik+ Family and Epik+ Family Safe
- Complimentary E-Roaming Entitlement
- Each eligible subscriber is entitled to one (1) month of complimentary E-Roaming in Saudi Arabia.
- The benefit:
- is provided at no additional charge;
- is applicable for use in Saudi Arabia only;
- is limited to one (1) complimentary entitlement per eligible subscriber with a valid MYKAD;
- allows eligible subscribers to use the applicable data allocation available under their eligible Tune Talk plan while in Saudi Arabia; and
- has no cash or monetary value.
- The benefit cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or converted into Tune Talk credit or any other benefit.
- Activation and Usage
- For eligible subscribers, E-Roaming will be available for use upon arrival in Saudi Arabia without the need to purchase a separate roaming pass or enter a separate activation code for the complimentary entitlement.
- Subscribers must ensure that:
- their Tune Talk line remains active;
- they remain subscribed to an eligible plan;
- their device supports roaming services;
- roaming settings are enabled; and
- their device is connected to a supported roaming partner network in Saudi Arabia.
- Actual connectivity and service availability may depend on device compatibility, network coverage and roaming partner availability.
- Data Usage
- The complimentary E-Roaming benefit allows eligible subscribers to use the applicable data allocation available under their eligible Tune Talk plan while in Saudi Arabia.
- Usage remains subject to:
- the subscriber’s applicable plan benefits;
- available data allocation;
- applicable validity period;
- network availability; and
- any applicable Fair Usage Policy imposed by the roaming partner.
- Once the applicable data entitlement has been fully utilised, subscribers may purchase an available E-Roaming booster or add-on to continue using data services, subject to the applicable charges and terms.
- Fair Usage Policy by Roaming Partner
- E-Roaming services are provided through third-party roaming partner networks and may be subject to a Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) imposed by the applicable roaming partner.
- The FUP may include usage limits, speed restrictions or other network controls and may vary depending on the roaming partner.
- Where such limits are applied, they are imposed by the applicable roaming partner and not by Tune Talk.
- When a subscriber reaches approximately 80% of the applicable roaming usage limit, Tune Talk may send a notification or prompt informing the subscriber of their usage and the availability of an E-Roaming booster.
- Subscribers may purchase the applicable booster to continue staying connected, subject to the prevailing price, validity and applicable terms.
- Upon reaching the applicable usage limit, the subscriber’s roaming data experience may be restricted or affected in accordance with the roaming partner’s FUP until an applicable booster is purchased or the relevant usage limit is reset.
- Subscribers Who Have Not Completed the Cooling Period
- Subscribers on Epik+ 28 or Epik+ 35 who have not completed the applicable six (6)-month cooling period shall not be entitled to the complimentary E-Roaming benefit.
- Such subscribers may purchase an available E-Roaming add-on separately, subject to the prevailing price, validity, availability and applicable terms and conditions.
- Service Availability
- E-Roaming services are dependent on third-party roaming partner networks in Saudi Arabia.
- Tune Talk does not guarantee that roaming connectivity will be uninterrupted or available at all locations or at all times.
- Network coverage, speed and service quality may be affected by factors including:
- roaming partner network availability;
- network congestion;
- geographical location;
- device compatibility;
- technical maintenance; and
- circumstances beyond Tune Talk’s reasonable control.
- Tune Talk shall not be responsible for temporary interruptions, degradation or unavailability of the service arising from circumstances beyond Tune Talk’s reasonable control.
- Verification of Eligibility
- Tune Talk reserves the right to verify a subscriber’s eligibility, including but not limited to:
- MYKAD status;
- subscribed plan;
- plan subscription date;
- completion of the applicable cooling period;
- account and line status; and
- entitlement records.
- Tune Talk’s system records shall be used to determine eligibility.
- Subscribers who do not satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements shall not be entitled to the complimentary benefit.
- Tune Talk reserves the right to verify a subscriber’s eligibility, including but not limited to:
- Changes to Plan During Cooling Period
- For Epik+ 28 and Epik+ 35 subscribers, eligibility is subject to completion of the applicable six (6)-month cooling period.
- Where a subscriber changes, terminates or ceases to be subscribed to the applicable eligible plan before completing the required cooling period, Tune Talk reserves the right to reassess the subscriber’s eligibility based on its system records and prevailing Campaign requirements.
- Non-Transferability
- The complimentary E-Roaming benefit is provided solely to the eligible subscriber and mobile number to which the entitlement is assigned.
- The benefit cannot be:
- transferred to another subscriber or mobile number;
- sold, assigned or resold;
- exchanged for cash or Tune Talk credit; or
- converted into another product, service or benefit.
- Misuse and Abuse
- Tune Talk reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or cancel the complimentary E-Roaming benefit where Tune Talk reasonably determines that a subscriber has:
- abused or misused the Campaign;
- attempted to manipulate the eligibility or cooling-period requirements;
- attempted to obtain multiple complimentary entitlements improperly;
- participated fraudulently or unlawfully; or
- breached these Terms and Conditions or any applicable Tune Talk terms of service.
- Tune Talk reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or cancel the complimentary E-Roaming benefit where Tune Talk reasonably determines that a subscriber has:
- Changes to the Campaign
- Tune Talk reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend, vary, extend, suspend or discontinue the Campaign, including but not limited to:
- the Campaign Period;
- eligibility requirements;
- eligible plans;
- cooling-period requirements;
- complimentary entitlement;
- service mechanics; and
- these Terms and Conditions.
- Any material changes will be communicated through Tune Talk’s official channels where applicable.
- Tune Talk reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend, vary, extend, suspend or discontinue the Campaign, including but not limited to:
- General Terms
- These Terms and Conditions shall be read together with Tune Talk’s applicable prepaid service terms, plan terms, E-Roaming terms and any other applicable terms governing the subscriber’s use of Tune Talk services.
- In the event of any inconsistency between these Campaign Terms and Conditions and any other Tune Talk terms specifically relating to the complimentary benefit under this Campaign, these Campaign Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
- Tune Talk’s decision in relation to eligibility, entitlement and administration of the Campaign shall be final, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
